A poem I did when I was around 12. I guess you can kind of tell.:P

 

Have You Ever

Have you ever been lost for words,
And said nothing at all?
Have you ever found your way across but stumbled and falled?
Your whole life changes as the street grows longer,
You'll never know what's there,
Unless you look around the corner.

Have you ever looked back,
And want to change everything?
Have you ever wanted to live in the past,
Change anything?
But life goes on,
You need to carry on,
But sometimes you wonder about
What's been and gone.

Have you ever had that feeling,
The feeling of despair?
AS you look back at the memories,
Those moments you didn't care.
Have you ever tried your hardest,
To reach that very star,
But you gave up and didn't make it,
If only you'd reached that far.
But life is a journey,
That goes on forever more.
You can still look back and see
What you did all those things for.

Have you ever?
Have you ever wondered?
If only you'd reached that far,
But you got to carry on,
You can't look back,
And change what's been and gone.
