I spose having a crwo cawing in the middle of the night isn't especially nice, but I do love nightingales 0:-)

 

Midnight Song

When I hear the birds,
At night when I'm asleep,
I love the song they sing,
It's something I want to keep.

Forevermore inside my head,
Imprinted in my mind,
One day I'll look back
And the song I might find.

Even in the middle of hte night,
I want to keep awake
To hear the midnight song,
I know it is not fake

I want ot hear it every night,
I hope its not gone for long,
Forever I want to hear it,
My midnight song.
